lake has over 500 miles of shoreline, 21000 acres of clear, clean
water with depths up to 300 ft. No pollution or runoff of any kind
effects its clear water. The lake offers boating, skiing, swimming
and fishing. You can cruise all day and never see the same spot twice,
or you can raft off in a secluded cove for a picnic or just to relax.
Smith Lake Park near Cullman and Clear Creek Park near Jasper offer
campgrounds and r.v. sites, swimming, picnicing , bbq grills and shelters.
There are special events throughout the summer. |
